LOOM WEAVING with Sandi Esterman
!!LATEST DATES FOR THE NEXT LOOMING CLASSES!!
Saturday, May 14 - 1 pm to 4 pm, and
Saturday, May 21 - 1 pm to 4 pm.
We have all been fascinated by some of the beautiful loomed beadwork shown in various magazines and on Pinterest. Then we've thought back to "dressing" a loom in girl scouts and how tedious this process is.
We used a picture of the bracelet you will make (on the right) during the process to give you and idea of what it looks like. The loopy thread on the left, top of the bracelet is the working thread attached to a needle. The threads on the bottom of the bracelet (number 2 and number 3 threads) are the beginning and end of the SAME thread to make all the vertical 'bars' on the loom.
Enter Sandi Esterman and the Rick's Loom©. Only ONE continuous thread is required to dress the loom and then you can begin weaving. Unlike many looms, the Rick's Loom© is relatively inexpensive, very well made and easy to use.
Sandi's workshop will be 2 consecutive Saturdays. Previous weaving experience is not required.
You will need to either own or pre-order the loom ($50.00) the day you sign up and the workshop fee is $90.00 for both days.
